The 2021 Mini John Cooper Works is a British car brand currently owned by BMW and used in Mini vehicles. John Cooper Works (JCW) was founded in 2002 by Michael Cooper, son of John Cooper, a racing car manufacturer and tuner responsible for the original Mini Cooper. The John Cooper Works Mini lineup will see several changes to the 2021 model, including the addition of the 2021 Mini JCW GP model. Its turbocharged four-cylinder engine belts have 302 horsepower, which is 74 horsepower more than the standard JCW.

The 2021 Mini John Cooper Works GP model is also located at the bottom and has aerodynamic elements, with an almost embarrassing large rear wing attached to the rear hatch. The Mini John Cooper Works GP also has a higher exhaust system and a redesigned suspension. Now the usual JCW rigid panel can be ordered with a six-speed manual transmission; The 8-speed automatic is the only transmission for GP and convertible models.

The Mini has also added a 2021 Signature trim kit that includes 6.5-inch navigation and an entertainment system with Apple CarPlay. The 2021 Mini John Cooper Works (JCW) has standard features such as LED lights, fog lights, rain-sensitive shut-off devices, heated and power-adjustable side windows and a rear spoiler. “Save the guide!” people, you can guess which transmission we chose. The indoor moving cabin comes standard with keyless entry and ignition, micro floor covering and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Cooper JCW also features standard driver assistance, including a rear-wheel drive camera and automated emergency braking. The materials used in the 2021 Mini JCW cabin are high quality and the design elements are whimsical and unique. The circular frame with the touch screen of the entertainment system reflects the cheerful tone. The Mini Cooper JCW doesn’t rank as high when it comes to utilities compared to other subcompacts.

The rear seat foot space is compact and these seats are very suitable for most adults. This Mini holds 8.7 cubic feet of cargo behind its rear seats and 34 cubic feet when these seats are folded. With an opponent like the Chevy Sonic hatchback, you get 19 cubic feet with all the seats and 47.7 cubic feet with the rear seat wrapped. The 2021 Cooper JCW convertible trunk offers a load capacity of only 5.7 cubic feet. All Mini Cooper JCW vehicles are equipped with a six-speaker AM / FM sound system, as well as a Bluetooth phone and streaming audio.

Optional equipment lists include a premium Harman / Kardon sound system, navigation, Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, and wireless charging for your devices. Unfortunately, Cooper does not work with JCW Android Auto. The 2021 Mini JCW is powered by a 220-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four. In the GP variant, the same engine was upgraded to 302 horsepower. The single gearbox for the convertible and GP JCW is an eight-speed automatic; the hard drive will choose between an eight-speed manual or a six-speed manual, the latter being new for 2021.

All transmissions transmit power to the front wheels. In our track tests, the Cooper JCW, a rigid machine equipped with a submachine gun, covered a distance of zero to 60 miles in 6.0 seconds.
